Instructions for Using MB3752:

  1. Power Supply:

    • Connect the Vcc pin to a power supply within the range of 2.0V to 5.5V.
    • Connect the GND pin to the ground of the power supply.
  2. Output Connection:

    • The output is an open collector type, which means it can sink current but not source it.
    • Connect a pull-up resistor (typically 1kΩ to 10kΩ) between the output pin (Vo) and Vcc.
    • Connect the output pin to the input of your microcontroller or other device.
  3. Detection:

    • The sensor will detect objects within a range of 0 to 50 cm.
    • The output will be low (Vo ≈ 0V) when an object is detected.
    • The output will be high (Vo ≈ Vcc) when no object is detected.
  4. Response Time:

    • The sensor has a typical response time of 100 ms. This means it may take up to 100 ms to change its output state after detecting or losing an object.
  5. Operating Temperature:

    • Ensure the sensor operates within the temperature range of -20°C to 70°C for optimal performance.
    • Store the sensor in temperatures ranging from -40°C to 85°C.
  6. Mounting:

    • Mount the sensor in a stable position with a clear field of view for accurate detection.
    • Avoid placing the sensor near sources of electromagnetic interference (EMI).
  7. Testing:

    • Before deploying the sensor, test it in the intended environment to ensure it meets the required detection criteria.
    • Use a multimeter to verify the output voltage levels when an object is present and absent.
