Instructions for Use

  1. Power Supply:

    • Ensure the supply voltage is within the operating range (1.8 V to 3.6 V).
    • Connect the VDD and VSS pins to the appropriate power and ground sources.
  2. Clock Configuration:

    • Configure the internal or external clock source as required.
    • Set the clock speed to the desired value (up to 120 MHz).
  3. Reset Pin:

    • Connect the reset pin (NRST) to a pull-up resistor and ensure it can be pulled low to reset the device.
  4. Programming:

    • Use the SWD interface for programming and debugging.
    • Connect the SWDIO and SWCLK pins to the debugger/programmer.
  5. I/O Configuration:

    • Configure the I/O pins as inputs or outputs using the appropriate register settings.
    • Enable pull-up or pull-down resistors if needed.
  6. Analog Inputs:

    • Connect analog signals to the ADC input pins.
    • Configure the ADC channels and start conversions using the ADC control registers.
  7. Digital Interfaces:

    • Initialize and configure the SPI, I2C, UART, and USB interfaces according to the application requirements.
    • Use the respective control and status registers to manage communication.
  8. Timers:

    • Set up the timers for various timing and counting tasks.
    • Configure the timer prescaler, period, and interrupt settings.
  9. Low Power Modes:

    • Enter low power modes (Sleep, Deep Sleep, Standby) to reduce power consumption.
    • Use the power control registers to manage the entry and exit from these modes.
  10. Protection:

    • Monitor the brown-out detection and overcurrent protection features to ensure safe operation.
    • Implement software checks to handle faults and protect the device.
  11. Debugging:

    • Use the SWD interface for real-time debugging.
    • Set breakpoints, inspect variables, and trace execution using a compatible debugger.
