Instructions for Using LA4485
Supply Voltage (Vcc):
- Ensure the supply voltage is within the range of 2.7V to 5.5V. The typical operating voltage is 5.0V.
Operating Temperature (Toper):
- The device can operate between -40掳C and 85掳C. Avoid exceeding these limits to prevent damage or malfunction.
Storage Temperature (Tstg):
- Store the device between -65掳C and 150掳C to ensure long-term reliability.
Output Current (Iout):
- Each channel can provide up to 200mA of current. Ensure that the load does not exceed this limit to avoid overheating and potential damage.
Total Output Current (Itotal):
- The total current across all channels should not exceed 600mA to maintain safe operation.
Quiescent Current (Iq):
- The quiescent current is typically 10渭A when no load is connected. This low current consumption helps in power-efficient designs.
Output Low Voltage (Vol):
- When the output is low, the voltage should be around 0.4V at a current of 200mA. This ensures a clear low signal.
Output High Voltage (Voh):
- When the output is high, the voltage should be around 4.6V at a current of -200mA. This ensures a clear high signal.
Thermal Shutdown (TSD):
- The device will automatically shut down if the temperature exceeds 150掳C to prevent damage. Allow the device to cool down before resuming operation.
Short-Circuit Protection (SCP):
- The device includes short-circuit protection to safeguard against accidental short circuits. If a short circuit occurs, the device will limit the current and may shut down to protect itself.
Additional Notes:
- Always use appropriate decoupling capacitors near the power supply pins to ensure stable operation.
- Ensure proper heat dissipation, especially when operating at high currents or in high ambient temperatures.
- Refer to the datasheet for detailed pin configurations and specific application notes.
