Instructions for Use:

  1. Power Supply:

    • Connect the VCC pin to the positive supply voltage (4.5 to 24V).
    • Connect the GND pin to the ground.
  2. Output Connection:

    • The output is an NPN open collector, which requires an external pull-up resistor connected between the output and the supply voltage.
    • The maximum output current (IO) is 25mA. Ensure that the load does not exceed this limit.
  3. Magnetic Field Sensing:

    • The sensor will switch its output based on the magnetic field strength.
    • The output will turn ON (low) when the magnetic field exceeds the operate point (BOP) of 15mT.
    • The output will turn OFF (high) when the magnetic field drops below the release point (BRP) of 10mT.
    • The hysteresis (BHYS) of 5mT ensures stable switching and prevents oscillation.
  4. Temperature Considerations:

    • The operating temperature range is -40掳C to 85掳C.
    • Store the device within the storage temperature range of -40掳C to 150掳C to avoid damage.
  5. Handling:

    • Handle with care to avoid mechanical stress.
    • Follow ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) precautions to prevent damage to the sensitive components.
  6. Mounting:

    • Mount the sensor in a position where it can effectively sense the magnetic field without interference from other magnetic sources.
