Instructions for Use:

  1. Power Supply:

    • Connect the VCC pin to a power supply within the range of 3.3V to 5.5V.
    • Connect the GND pin to the ground of the power supply.
  2. Output Connection:

    • The output is an open collector, so connect a pull-up resistor between the output pin (OUT) and VCC.
    • The typical value for the pull-up resistor is 4.7kΩ to 10kΩ.
  3. Magnetic Field Application:

    • Place a magnet near the sensor to activate it. The sensor will switch its output state based on the magnetic field strength.
    • For operation, the magnetic field should exceed the Bop threshold (30 Gauss typical).
    • For release, the magnetic field should drop below the Brp threshold (15 Gauss typical).
  4. Temperature Considerations:

    • Ensure that the operating temperature remains within the specified range (-40°C to 85°C).
    • Store the sensor in an environment where the temperature does not exceed 150°C.
  5. Handling and Storage:

    • Handle the sensor with care to avoid damage.
    • Store in a dry and cool place to prevent moisture damage.
  6. Testing:

    • Before integrating the sensor into a circuit, test it using a known magnetic field to ensure proper functionality.
    • Use a multimeter to verify the output state (LOW or HIGH) when the magnetic field is applied and removed.
