Instructions
Installation:
- Ensure the sensor is installed in a location that is free from dust, moisture, and extreme temperatures.
- Use the provided mounting brackets to secure the sensor in place.
Wiring:
- Connect the power supply to the sensor using the M12 4-pin connector.
- Pin 1: Brown (Positive)
- Pin 2: Blue (Negative)
- Pin 3: Black (Output)
- Pin 4: White (Common)
Adjustment:
- Adjust the detection distance using the potentiometer on the sensor.
- Turn the potentiometer clockwise to increase the detection distance and counterclockwise to decrease it.
Operation:
- When an object breaks the beam between the transmitter and receiver, the output changes state.
- The output is normally open and will close when the beam is broken (NPN open collector).
Maintenance:
- Regularly clean the lens with a soft, dry cloth to maintain optimal performance.
- Avoid exposing the sensor to harsh chemicals or solvents.
Troubleshooting:
- If the sensor does not respond, check the wiring connections and ensure the power supply is within the specified range.
- If the detection distance is inconsistent, recalibrate the sensor by adjusting the potentiometer.
