Instructions for Using the MPX5700GP:

  1. Power Supply:

    • Ensure the supply voltage (VDD) is within the range of 4.5V to 5.5V.
    • Connect the VDD pin to the positive terminal of your power source and the GND pin to the negative terminal.
  2. Pressure Application:

    • Apply the pressure to be measured to the pressure port of the sensor.
    • The sensor is designed to measure pressures ranging from 14.7 psi to 29.0 psi.
  3. Output Signal:

    • The output voltage (VOUT) will vary linearly with the applied pressure.
    • At atmospheric pressure (14.7 psi), the output voltage should be around 0.75V.
    • At maximum pressure (29.0 psi), the output voltage should be around 4.25V.
  4. Temperature Considerations:

    • The sensor operates over a temperature range of -40掳C to 125掳C.
    • The temperature coefficient of the output is 卤0.01% per degree Celsius, which means the output may vary slightly with temperature changes.
  5. Calibration:

    • For precise measurements, calibrate the sensor using known pressure points.
    • Use the non-linearity and hysteresis specifications to account for any deviations in the output.
  6. Mounting:

    • Mount the sensor in a location where it is not exposed to excessive mechanical stress or vibration.
    • Ensure the sensor is properly sealed if used in environments with high humidity or moisture.
  7. Handling:

    • Handle the sensor with care to avoid damage to the pressure port or electrical connections.
    • Avoid applying excessive force or torque to the sensor during installation.
  8. Storage:

    • Store the sensor in a dry, cool place when not in use.
    • Protect the sensor from static electricity by using appropriate handling procedures.
