Instructions
Power Supply Connection:
- Connect the input voltage to the
VINpin. - Ensure the input voltage is within the specified range (2.7V to 5.5V).
- Connect the input voltage to the
Output Configuration:
- Connect the load to the
VOUT1andVOUT2pins. - The output voltages are fixed at 1.8V for
VOUT1and 3.3V forVOUT2.
- Connect the load to the
Enable Control:
- Use the
ENpin to control the operation of the regulator. - Apply a logic high (≥1.8V) to the
ENpin to enable the regulator. - Apply a logic low (≤0.4V) to the
ENpin to disable the regulator.
- Use the
Ground Connection:
- Connect the
GNDpin to the system ground.
- Connect the
Thermal Considerations:
- Ensure adequate heat dissipation if operating near the maximum output current.
- Use a heatsink or PCB copper area to improve thermal performance.
Capacitor Selection:
- Place a 1μF ceramic capacitor close to the
VINpin to stabilize the input. - Place a 1μF ceramic capacitor close to each
VOUTpin to stabilize the output.
- Place a 1μF ceramic capacitor close to the
PCB Layout:
- Keep the traces from the
VINandVOUTpins short and wide to minimize inductance. - Ensure proper grounding and decoupling to reduce noise and improve stability.
- Keep the traces from the
Protection:
- The IP2312 includes built-in overcurrent and thermal shutdown protection.
- Do not exceed the maximum ratings to avoid damage to the device.
Storage and Handling:
- Store the device in a dry environment to prevent moisture damage.
- Handle with care to avoid static discharge, which can damage the device.
