Instructions for Use:
Forward Voltage (VF):
- Ensure the supply voltage to the LED is within the specified range to avoid damage or reduced performance.
Reverse Voltage (VR):
- Do not apply more than 5V in reverse bias to the LED to prevent breakdown.
Forward Current (IF):
- The typical forward current is 20mA, but it can be increased up to 50mA for higher brightness. Exceeding this value may cause damage.
Peak Pulse Current (IP):
- For short pulses, the current can be increased to 100mA without damaging the LED.
Emitter-Collector Voltage (VEC):
- The maximum voltage that can be applied between the emitter and collector is 30V.
Collector Current (IC):
- The typical collector current is 1mA, with a maximum of 5mA to ensure reliable operation.
Collector-Emitter Saturation Voltage (VCE(sat)):
- The voltage drop between the collector and emitter when the transistor is saturated should be between 0.4V and 0.8V.
Dark Current (ID):
- The dark current should not exceed 0.1μA to ensure proper isolation.
Isolation Voltage (VIso):
- The device can withstand up to 5000V of isolation voltage, ensuring safe operation in high-voltage environments.
Operating Temperature (Top):
- The operating temperature range is from -40°C to 110°C. Ensure the device is used within this range to avoid thermal damage.
Storage Temperature (Tstg):
- Store the device in an environment where the temperature ranges from -55°C to 150°C to maintain its integrity.
Additional Notes:
- Always use appropriate heat sinking if the device will be operated at high currents or temperatures.
- Ensure that the circuit design includes necessary current-limiting resistors to protect the LED.
- Follow standard safety guidelines when handling and testing high-voltage circuits.
