Instructions for Use:

  1. Power Supply Connection: Connect the VCC pin to a supply voltage within the specified range (1.7V to 3.6V). Ground the GND pin.

  2. SPI Interface Setup: The device uses an SPI interface. Ensure that the pins are connected as follows:

    • MOSI (Master Out Slave In): Connect to the data output of the master.
    • MISO (Master In Slave Out): Connect to the data input of the master.
    • SCK (Serial Clock): Connect to the clock signal from the master.
    • CS (Chip Select): Active low, connect to the chip select signal from the master.
  3. Initialization: Before any read/write operations, ensure the device is selected by pulling the CS pin low.

  4. Read Operation:

    • Send the Read command followed by the address to be read.
    • Data can then be read on the MISO line with each clock cycle.
  5. Write Operation:

    • Send the Write Enable command.
    • Send the Write command followed by the address and data to be written.
    • After writing, send the Write Disable command to protect the memory.
  6. Addressing: Addresses are 18 bits long, allowing access to all memory locations in the device.

  7. Error Handling: Implement error checking mechanisms such as verifying write operations by reading back the data.

  8. Power Down: When not in use, it's recommended to power down the device or place it in a low-power mode if supported.

  9. Handling Precautions: Follow standard ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) precautions when handling the device to avoid damage.
