Instructions for Use:
Power Supply Connection: Connect VCC1 and VCC2 to the appropriate supply voltages within the specified range of 3.0V to 5.5V. Ensure GND1 and GND2 are properly grounded.
Signal Routing: Route input signals to the IN pins on one side and connect the corresponding OUT pins on the other side to receive isolated output signals. The ISO7221CDR supports bidirectional communication through its four channels.
Handling Electrostatic Discharge (ESD): The device is sensitive to ESD; handle with care and follow proper anti-static procedures.
Mounting and PCB Design: Use a PCB layout that minimizes noise coupling between the primary and secondary sides. Place bypass capacitors close to the VCC pins for stable operation.
Testing and Verification: After assembly, verify the isolation performance by testing under conditions similar to those in which the device will operate.
Compliance and Safety: Ensure that the application complies with all relevant safety standards and regulations, especially concerning electrical isolation requirements.
