Instructions for HT8698

  1. Power Supply Connection:

    • Connect the VDD pin to a power supply within the specified operating voltage range (2.0V to 5.5V).
    • Ensure a stable power supply by using appropriate decoupling capacitors near the VDD pin.
  2. Audio Input Configuration:

    • Connect the audio source to the differential input pins (AIN+ and AIN-). The maximum input signal should not exceed 0.6VRMS.
  3. Speaker Connection:

    • Connect an 8Ω speaker to the output pins. The HT8698 can deliver up to 1W of power to the speaker.
  4. Standby Mode:

    • To enter standby mode, set the STBY pin low. This reduces current consumption to approximately 1μA.
    • Return to active mode by setting the STBY pin high.
  5. Thermal Considerations:

    • Ensure adequate heat dissipation if operating at higher powers or in high ambient temperatures.
