Instructions:
- Power Supply: Connect the VCC pin to a power supply within the operating voltage range (1.8V to 5.5V). Ground the GND pin.
- I2C Interface Setup:
- Connect SDA (Data Line) and SCL (Clock Line) to the respective lines of the microcontroller or host system.
- Ensure pull-up resistors are connected to both SDA and SCL lines.
- Address Configuration:
- The device has a fixed I2C address unless A0, A1, A2 pins are used for address selection.
- Write Operation:
- Start condition on the I2C bus.
- Send the control byte (device address + write command).
- Send the memory address where data is to be written.
- Transmit the data byte(s) to be written.
- Stop condition on the I2C bus.
- Wait for at least 5ms before starting another write cycle to allow completion of the previous write operation.
- Read Operation:
- Start condition on the I2C bus.
- Send the control byte (device address + write command).
- Send the memory address from which data is to be read.
- Repeated start condition.
- Send the control byte (device address + read command).
- Read the data byte(s).
- Send an NACK after the last byte you want to read.
- Stop condition on the I2C bus.
- Handling:
- Ensure that the device is not exposed to voltages outside its specified operating range.
- Avoid exceeding the maximum operating temperature and humidity levels to prevent damage.
- Storage:
- Store in a dry environment to avoid moisture damage.
